Plant Accounting Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior plant accountant or higher in manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a team of 4 or more direct reports.
• Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and a team player.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially spreadsheets/databases.
• Above-average communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Prior ERP experience required; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Ability to identify improvement areas in accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop personnel in the plant accounting department.
• Oversee accounts payable processes including approvals and resolution of items.
• Prepare financial reports, month-end work papers, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze profit margins, manufacturing costs, and manage the month-end close process.
• Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and assist with updating overhead rates.
• Collaborate with Operations and FP&A teams to communicate plant activities.
