- Proven experience as a User Researcher in a public sector context.
- Familiarity with GDS standards and experience guiding services through assessments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to user-centred design.
- Understanding and representing the voice of the user throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Guiding digital services through Government Digital Service (GDS) assessments, taking services from Discovery, Alpha, Beta to Live.
- Approaching user engagement from a design-led perspective.
- Collaborating effectively with Product Managers, Content Designers, and Interaction Designers in multidisciplinary teams.
- Integrating user research insights into the product development process.
- Analysing and synthesising research data to provide clear findings that inform decision-making.
- Involving colleagues in the analysis and synthesis process, fostering consensus and challenging assumptions.
