Requirements:

• Broad insight in High-performance transactional throughput Data Model Application Architectures.
• Focus on Security and standards compliance.
• Hands-on experience in supporting Enterprise grade, Elastic Production environments.
• Expertise in managing HA PostgreSQL workloads.
• Experience in Hybrid Cloud and Database workload migration.
• Cross Database engine migration experience preferable, especially Microsoft TSQL to PostgreSQL.
• Cloud native Database service experience in mission critical environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Data Analytics, Data Lake, Data Warehouse.
• Knowledge of Database Partitioning, Data Tiering, and Clusterization.
• Familiarity with IaC Automation technologies.
• SQL Development and scripting experience in Python, Perl, Bash/KSH/AWS CLI.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
• 12+ years of professional experience.
• Technological expertise with PostgreSQL, MariaDB or Microsoft SQL Server.
• AWS Certified Database - Specialty or equivalent.

• Establish, oversee and enforce compliance to Database management standards.
• Adopt new technology and continuously improve systems.
• Acquire new skill set continuously to enhance service delivery.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of Relational and Non-relational Databases.
• Operate in mission-critical Production environments.
• Create and maintain documentation using Atlassian products.
• Produce monthly Management Reports.
• Apply automation to minimize manual actions.
• Conduct Root cause Incident Analysis and propose solutions.
• Manage data models and collaborate with development heads.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
• Conduct capacity and availability planning.
• Plan and conduct scheduled maintenance and apply hotfixes.
• Improve transactional throughput performance through query analysis.
• Support strategic and tactical planning.
