Requirements:

• 4+ years as a software engineer.
• 2+ years leading software teams.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails.
• Extensive experience in front-end development, especially with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like React.
• Experience architecting and building Single Page Applications and mobile-first web applications.
• Proven ability to collaborate with design teams to create quality user experiences.
• Familiarity with CMS tools such as Contentful, WordPress, and Drupal.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience in planning successful projects and experiments.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute significantly to the work of the team each iteration through direct coding, code review, and project leadership.
• Document designs and plans for projects with clear writing and diagrams.
• Architect and develop rich, responsive web and native applications.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform designs into high-quality code.
• Optimize applications for speed and user experience.
• Mentor team members in front-end development best practices.
• Build relationships with partners in Product Management and other areas.
• Suggest code patterns and process improvements.
• Lead in incident response.
