• B.A. or B.S. in environmental science, agriculture, or related fields, or relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Review inspection reports and mid-year updates for certified farm clients and new applicants to evaluate compliance with USDA regulations.
• Make compliance decisions about client standards regarding land history, crop management, and documentation.
• Provide customer service and technical assistance to clients navigating certification.
• Maintain accurate client database records.
• Communicate clear information about the certification process verbally and in writing.
• Independently manage workload to ensure timely review of updates and reports.
• Complete work quality in line with other specialists.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain knowledge of internal updates.
