Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in digital marketing and at least 3 years experience in SEO with a strong focus on technical SEO strategies and implementations.
  • Extensive experience in SEO research and auditing tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Practical knowledge of advanced technical SEO topics (canonicalization, hreflang, schema, indexing, etc.).
  • Experience working with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, and site speed optimization to enhance website performance.
  • Understanding of common web technologies (HTML/CSS, JS Libraries, PHP, Python, etc.).
  • Extremely organized - effective project manager with a strong ability to prioritize tasks by level of effort and impact.
  • Data-driven with experience developing and analyzing reports to drive SEO strategy and show performance of internal SEO efforts.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages and experience in international SEO.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement technical SEO best practices, including website structure and code, improving site speed and performance, and ensuring mobile-friendly experiences.
  • Understand and implement thorough technical SEO audits of ivisatravel.com and foreign language domains.
  • Identify and execute on-page optimizations that result in improved user engagement signals, rankings, and traffic to the site.
  • Build and present transparent reporting to track, report, analyze, and improve SEO performance.
  • Develop a strong partnership with Webdev to ensure technical SEO best practices are being implemented.
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to help drive SEO strategy and priorities.
  • Serve as the key SEO expert/advocate and keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity and data-driven decision-making that encourages innovative approaches to SEO challenges.
