Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• Preferred experience selling into government and/or education verticals.
• Preferred experience in software, hardware, and/or high technology sales.
• Excellent time management, writing, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Sufficient computer literacy for business tools and product demonstrations.
• Mastery of consultation sales skills, translating customer needs into solutions.
• Strong customer service orientation for excellent customer relations.
• Travel requirements may not exceed 30% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new acquisition sales opportunities within the assigned territory through networking and cold calling.
• Grow long-term customer relationships and ensure customer understanding of product offerings.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospect identification, appointment setting, and closing sales.
• Navigate multiple steps in the sales process with various decision makers.
• Maintain product knowledge, analyze customer needs, and present strategic sales solutions.
• Create a strategic business development plan to meet territory objectives and manage CRM activity.
• Stay informed on funding options and ensure compliance throughout the selling process.
• Develop forecasts as required by management and engage in self-training.
