• Solid understanding of the payments stack with international experience.

• Successful in negotiating a broad set of different types of deals.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Intellectually curious with structured thinking.
• 5+ years of experience in business development or product partnerships.
• Experience in crypto business development, product, or growth is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop and execute the partnership strategy and tactics that will support Coinbase’s growth and ability to serve developers with best-in-class payments services.
• Work independently to lead cross-functional partnership initiatives, working with product, finance, comms, compliance, legal, policy, and marketing.
• Own all elements of the partnership life cycle: scoping of opportunities, identifying potential partners, framing of value, negotiating agreements, and implementation and optimization.
• Maintain healthy and productive relationships with partners, resolving business, policy, and technical issues.
• Bring deals across the finish line in a self-directed manner.
