Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or environment-related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in food systems and GHG accounting; additional years strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing technical aspects of GHG accounting in agriculture; knowledge of GHG profiles and mitigation strategies.
  • Understanding of corporate supply chain management; demonstrated research and public communication experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred; strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Understanding of carbon quantification methodologies and sustainability product certification standards.
  • Ability to foster relationships with clients and partners; experience developing proposals for funders is desired.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead project review and communications with clients to scope project quality and technical methodologies.
  • Manage the analysis of climate projects related to agriculture, forestry, and GHG emissions, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform calculations using GHG and activity data, support critical thinking and innovative analytical methods.
  • Prepare technical analysis reports and presentations, translating complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Maintain daily client communications, providing consistent technical guidance.
  • Create decision-support tools for GHG measurement and monitoring.
  • Track and monitor programs to ensure deliverable fulfillment at high quality.
