Requirements:

• J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school (or foreign equivalent).
• Membership in at least 1 U.S. State Bar in good standing.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house.
• Deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape including NCUA, insurance, and data privacy.
• Significant experience in drafting and negotiating legal documents.

Responsibilities:

• Advise CEO on laws and regulations affecting the business.
• Manage all regulatory compliance including NCUA, GLBA, HIPPA, A11Y, and state privacy rules.
• Oversee insurance licensing across multiple states and manage the Medicare insurance compliance program.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and maintain company policies and procedures.
• Maintain relationships with regulators and manage company legal documentation.
