Requirements:

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience leading software engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Experience as a contributor in fields relevant to the technologies used.
• Proficiency in software development using Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Spring, Java, and Spring.
• Understanding of message bus architecture and service-oriented architecture.
• Knowledge of the security industry, particularly Bug Bounty or Penetration Testing.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and application of Scrum.
• Ability to review design proposals and breakdown tasks for efficient work allocation.
• Familiarity with Australian employment law.
• Strong writing skills and team leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee allocation of work to team members to ensure efficient task distribution.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and address knowledge gaps.
• Manage hiring processes including posting jobs and onboarding new employees.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize business problems.
• Define and analyze business requirements to propose effective solutions.
• Monitor system uptime and troubleshoot errors.
• Review code and ensure adherence to standards.
• May act as an occasional individual contributor while primarily focusing on team development.
