Security Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Cyber Security, Computer or Electrical Engineering (or similar field).
• 2+ years in security or security engineering.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools like Terraform.
• Solid understanding of building and operating secure systems at scale.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and container deployments.
• Technical exposure with AWS, GCP, and Azure services and security controls.

Responsibilities:

• Improve and help shape the security posture of Celonis’s Platform Infrastructure.
• Design, build and deploy automation at scale that enhances Celonis’s production security infrastructure.
• Enhance monitoring and alerting to enable the SOC to respond efficiently to threats.
• Identify areas for cloud security improvements and engineer solutions.
• Work with the infrastructure team as a subject matter expert on Infrastructure & Cloud Security.
• Collaborate with Security and Engineering teams to apply security best practices and mitigate risks.
• Implement technical prototypes to explore new technologies and manage project risks.
