Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering area.
• Current professional (PE) Engineering license.
• Minimum of 10 years practical experience in mechanical engineering, with 2+ years in forensic/failure analysis.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical/plumbing design in various settings is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 30% throughout the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Forensically analyze and determine root cause of plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC failures.
• Evaluate equipment/system damage due to catastrophic events.
• Conduct field investigations and lab examinations.
• Perform equipment and component testing, evidence preservation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and coordinate projects.
• Prepare written technical reports and provide expert testimony.
