• Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in IT/Cloud Operations.
• Mastery of advanced Cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Platform or AWS).
• Advanced proficiency in maintaining applications across diverse Linux and Windows environments.
• Expertise in Database Administration, advanced capabilities in query analysis and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in advanced version control systems such as GitHub and GitLab.
• Mastery in scripting languages (Bash Shell, PowerShell, Python).
• Proven track record in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and advanced software applications.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability in a flat organization.
• Associate cloud certification related to cloud architecture (GCP, AWS) is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Support high-transaction, globally distributed cloud infrastructure.
• Develop infrastructure for deploying and managing Geotab's SaaS solution.
• Maintain cloud operations with a focus on servers, infrastructure management, cost optimization, and security.
• Refine existing systems and implement advanced methodologies for automation.
• Incorporate AI into cloud operations to enhance performance and resilience.
• Provide proactive support 24/7 for production and disaster recovery operations.
