Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with high volume final assembly Contract Manufacturers in a Strategic Sourcing role.

Responsibilities:
  • Working as a key member of the sourcing team focused on EMS Category Management for complex supply chain projects.
  • Development and implementation of Contract Manufacturing strategies and initiatives considering business requirements, quality, cost, lead times, and capabilities.
  • Monitoring market trends and advancements within the supplier landscape for recommendations.
  • Assessing different contract manufacturing models and proposing solutions.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers.
  • Conducting supplier performance evaluations and audits.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements, including pricing and contracts.
  • Maintaining records of supplier information and performance metrics.
  • Cost modeling and benchmarking.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams on specifications.
  • Ensuring material availability for development and production.
  • Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
  • Participating in the continuous development of sourcing practices.
