Requirements:

• 7+ years in software engineering with a focus on iOS and Android native application development.
• 2+ years as a people manager on software teams.
• Experience with Swift or Java/Kotlin and mobile development frameworks.
• Familiarity with app development lifecycle, Play/App Store compliance, and submission requirements.
• Familiarity with React Native.
• Proven leadership in multi-team projects.
• Excellent communication skills with engineering colleagues and senior business leaders.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and Insurance experts to set quarterly strategies.
• Manage individual performance and team dynamics effectively.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and delegate tasks to meet business and team goals.
• Identify team gaps and develop action plans through individual development or hiring.
• Conduct regular performance conversations and reviews.
• Continuously assess and improve team processes.
• Engage in code reviews and technical challenges to demonstrate hands-on leadership.
