Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• Master’s in Public Health or related field preferred.
• 3 years of recent experience in a hospital workforce health and safety role required.
• 4 years of recent experience is preferred.
• Preferred training includes PureOHS Electronic Health Record and Press Ganey Safety Reporting System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
• Experience in health communication and event logistics.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement workforce health and safety programs in line with regulations and best practices.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors for timely and cost-effective service delivery.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of vendors for compliance with agreements.
• Stay updated on health and safety regulations and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate for risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
• Establish employee training programs on health and safety practices.
• Compile and analyze incident data for reporting purposes.
• Maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
• Promote communication regarding health and safety matters across internal stakeholders.
