Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired.
Candidates with a pending bachelor’s degree or proven sales and industry experience may be considered.
Previous Sales experience highly desired.
Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations to Cattle and Equine animal owners.
Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office, plus ability to be trained on ration balancing software.
Strong background and previous professional experience with Equine animals.

Responsibilities:

Calling on mainly Equine animal owners to evaluate existing feeding programs.
Recommending and assisting with nutritional programs.
Conducting up to 25 farm calls per week to sell Purina products.
Developing new prospects and making sales cold calls.
Organizing and conducting educational meetings/events for local clubs and trainers.
