Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Experience managing business registration in the US.
• Experience with NetSuite and TriNet.
• Understanding of SaaS business models.
• Startup experience preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end/year-end close processes, and regulatory reporting.
• Administrative skills proficiency and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience working with external auditors and managing insurance brokers is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, and payroll.
• Direct the preparation and publication of monthly financial statements and oversee regulatory reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and guide preparation of month-end accounts and audit files.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data for accurate financial reports.
• Collaborate with external auditors for compliance and audit results.
• Enhance financial systems and ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Manage the filing of US reports, handling sales-related legal documents, support the creation of legal contracts, and manage insurance relationships.
