Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • 1-2 years of relevant data science experience; previous e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Skilled in statistical analysis and hands-on experience with the standard data science stack (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Jupyter, matplotlib).
  • Familiar with best practices in coding (Git, code reviews, linting, testing).
  • Good coding skills in Python and SQL; experience in BigQuery and PostgreSQL is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Work on improving pricing models and algorithms.
  • Develop new tools to optimize e-commerce revenue.
  • Conduct data exploration, cleaning, transformation, and visualization.
  • Perform statistical analysis to support business decisions.
  • Develop machine learning models for classification, clustering, and forecasting.
  • Present data insights efficiently to stakeholders.
  • Write high-quality code and participate in code reviews.
  • Utilize tools like Python, SQL, and shell scripts for analysis.
  • Work with standard data science libraries and frameworks.
  • Implement solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
  • Productize models using REST APIs and Docker.
