Requirements:

• Core focus on people management with sufficient technical skills to manage a highly technical team/product.
• Experience with applying AI, ML, and GenAI to solve real world problems for customers is a big plus.
• Experience partnering with Product Management and Design to build delightful user experiences.
• Ability to engage in technical conversations and challenge teams to arrive at strong technical decisions.
• Comfortable working with autonomous engineering teams in their decision-making.
• Up-to-date with technical trends and shifts.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with prior engineering experience.
• Familiarity with running services in public Cloud and SRE/DevOps concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Leading Regular 1:1s to ensure your direct reports are motivated, engaged, and learning
• Coaching and mentoring your direct reports
• Providing continuous feedback to engineers to ensure that they can add value while maintaining high standards
• Contributing to and reviewing design documents for upcoming features
• Guiding engineers in effective cross-functional collaboration inside and outside the team
• Assisting the team in breaking down features into iterative tasks
• Collaborating with Product, Design, leadership, and engineers to help define and influence product strategy, roadmaps, and technical designs.
