Requirements:

• 5 years minimum experience underwriting workers compensation.
• 7 years minimum insurance industry experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent UW experience.
• Sales and/or marketing experience within the work comp or P&C insurance industry preferred.
• Experience interpreting and analyzing insurance policies.
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and grow business relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Underwriting and agency relations support including risk selection, coverage evaluation, pricing, and hazard identification.
• Maintain portfolio of commercial clients with high customer support.
• Execute and document underwriting criteria for compliance.
• Perform underwriting reviews on renewals and oversee operations support for policy servicing.
• Assist in verifying client info and producing new/renewal business.
• Manage relationships with agencies and develop annual success plans.
• Evaluate new submissions providing technical expertise.
• Ensure profitability and adherence to service standards.
