Requirements:

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of exposure to unpleasant content in online trust and safety roles.
• Experience in professional or leisure moderation is a plus.
• Familiarity with video games is beneficial.
• Educational background in sociology, ethics, education, anthropology, or related cultural fields is advantageous.
• Experience in inclusion, child protection, or legal protection is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain language competency tools using knowledge of the language and culture.
• Classify words and expressions based on a defined taxonomy related to online harms.
• Examine chat data to ensure accurate classification, addressing errors as necessary.
• Analyze data for trends and develop improvement plans for classification.
• Identify and add vocabulary based on client needs and global trends.
• Collaborate with the client success team to address client inquiries and issues.
• Participate in developing more efficient methods for detecting content circumventing moderation.
• Support product testing and report issues when needed.
• Utilize various tools to maintain and develop datasets for AI model evaluation.
• Classify or analyze data for analysts to contribute to AI training.
• Test potential harms of new AI features and communicate findings.
• Classify provided audit data and report results, identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements.
