Requirements:
  • Previous experience in technical people leadership and mentorship of engineers.
  • Commercial experience in a software development environment, ideally with frameworks, libraries, or APIs.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, MobX, etc., is valuable but not required.
  • Strong grounding in computer science and engineering fundamentals including concurrency, multithreading, and design patterns.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effective communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in breaking down large projects.
Responsibilities:
  • As a team lead, you will coach, mentor, and grow a team of frontend and backend engineers.
  • Work alongside the technical lead to solve ambitious technical problems and guide the team to deliver results.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to understand and contribute to the product roadmap.
  • Drive planning and refinement of seasonal goals, ensuring alignment across company, group, and teams.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and advocate for engineering needs among non-technical collaborators.
  • Own and drive large cross-team and cross-group initiatives from ideation to completion.
