Requirements:
  • A BA/BS degree in business, law, finance, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, or Management Consulting.
  • Excellent understanding of internal control environments.
  • Working knowledge of BSA, AML, Sanctions, and financial crime compliance laws.
  • Relevant industry or public accounting experience preferred.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading and managing teams.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel regionally and internationally.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop next generation audit practices for a global internal audit function.
  • Support internal audit plan execution including audit planning, stakeholder management, fieldwork execution, data analysis, reporting, and validation of audit findings.
  • Lead compliance audits related to AML, Sanctions, and Terrorist Financing.
  • Participate in developing legal entity specific internal audit plans to address identified risks.
  • Review and evaluate management's response to audit findings and validate remediation activities.
  • Develop audit reports for executive level audience documenting findings.
  • Assist in preparing internal audit materials for the Audit Committee and Board.
  • Establish trusted relationships with business management and serve as an advisory function.
  • Assist with responses to regulatory inquiries and manage ad-hoc investigations.
