Requirements:

• Degree or experience in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Previous extensive experience with APQP and PPAP.
• Proven track record in an automotive and manufacturing environment.
• OEM/Tier 1/Tier 2 experience.
• Ability to influence suppliers to meet quality standards.
• Ability to read Engineering drawings, CAD data, and tolerancing.
• Experience using FMEA, Control Plans, Statistical Process Control.
• Knowledge of IS9001 standard management systems.
• Trained Lead or Internal Auditor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills using core tools like 8D, DMAIC.
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
• Leadership in the field of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Leading quality involvement in design reviews and DFMEA development.
• Developing PFMEAs and Control plans for suppliers.
• Establishing and implementing an APQP process integrated into the management system.
• Developing a Supplier PPAP tracking system.
• Managing supplier KPIs related to PPAP and change control.
• Analysing supplier PPAP submissions and capability data.
• Chairing review meetings with suppliers.
• Reporting status to wider project teams.
• Identifying supplier development opportunities with Group SQA.
• Supporting 8D activities and improvement projects.
• Conducting sample inspections of parts when required.
