Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED with a minimum of one year auto appraisal experience required.
• Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree or Technical School Degree preferred.
• State appraiser and claim handling licenses preferred.
• Strong technical background including knowledge of auto repair and terminology.
• Proficiency in claims appraisal systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong mathematical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers consistent service quality throughout the claim life cycle.
• Scoping claims and establishing physical damage claim values.
• Preparing and documenting damage appraisals.
• Partnering with Claim Professionals throughout claim resolution.
• Negotiating claim settlements and payment initiation.
• Conducting damage management and managing reserves.
