3 to 5 years of hands-on experience conducting UX research for digital products, focusing on qualitative methods.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Data Science, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
Proven ability to plan and execute user research studies, synthesize findings, and deliver actionable insights.
Familiarity with tools like Dovetail, Userbit, or equivalent for organizing research findings.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using existing data sources to complement qualitative research.
Ability to create and leverage research outputs such as personas, journey maps, and task flows.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
Flexible to work hours overlapping with European and US time zones.
Experience in healthcare or B2B domains is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute tailored research plans and strategies collaborating with product teams to recruit representative users.
Independently lead complex, multi-phase research efforts across multiple projects using methods such as interviews, contextual inquiries, usability testing, and ethnographic studies.
Identify gaps and opportunities by analyzing existing data sources and conducting new studies as needed.
Plan, conduct, and report on usability testing to validate designs.
Perform UX audits to uncover pain points.
Analyze and synthesize research findings into user personas, flows, journeys, and task flows.
Centralize research findings in a repository using tools like Dovetail or Userbit.
Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and stakeholders.
