  • Experience in account management or business development is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Category Manager in maintaining and executing category strategies that align with overall department and business goals.
  • Manage product assortment by sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to offer a competitive range of items.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with Careem’s business objectives and supplier needs.
  • Partner with merchandising teams to ensure optimal visibility and performance of campaigns on the platform.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new products and stock availability.
  • Work with the pricing team to source competitive prices while maintaining category profitability.
  • Build and nurture relationships with suppliers through regular business reviews and strategic growth plans.
  • Ensure the accuracy and hygiene of product content and maintain its visibility on the app with support from category assistants.
  • Identify and incorporate emerging consumer trends in online grocery and Q-commerce.
