Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions or service.
• Experience handling 1st and 3rd party multi-line claims across operating territories.
• Experience with moderately complex claims management.
• Solid knowledge of casualty coverages and related policy endorsements.
• Understanding of the claims handling process.
• Obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as required.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate origin and cause of claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, and other parties.
• Identify complex issues and seek assistance while handling claims in good faith.
• Conduct on-site inspections when necessary, evaluate damages, and negotiate claims.
• Respond to customer inquiries, make decisions, and close files as needed.
• Interpret policies and apply coverage determinations for assigned losses.
• Provide claim process and status updates to all parties involved.
