Requirements:

• 3-5 years litigation and claims management experience required.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Must obtain Qualified Claims Manager license within 90 days of hire.
• Critical thinker with good organizational skills and self-motivation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and TEAMS.
• B.A or B.S degree is required, and J.D. is helpful.

Responsibilities:

• Handle claims for the financial services group, analyzing coverage under various professional liability policies.
• Manage litigation, engage in settlement negotiations, and attend mediations.
• Exercise full settlement authority and assign defense counsel when necessary.
• Investigate claims, secure documentation, and identify potential exposure.
• Coordinate reports and serve as the chief liaison with professional groups.
