Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in digital sales, preferably mobile.
  • Knowledge and experience of media and publishing landscape.
  • Large range of existing relationships and contacts with agencies and advertisers.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and appreciation of deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Be a strong seller of new business with exceptional cold calling and prospecting skills.
  • Develop new markets for WeatherBug where little or no revenue exists now.
  • Establish senior agency and client direct relationships, engaging client contacts and decision makers.
  • Hold at least 5 meetings a week with a focus on the 'Pitch a day' mentality.
  • Manage a territory and effectively manage sales pipeline.
  • Build strong internal relationships for best client service.

  • Coach other sellers to help them grow and develop into high performing sellers.
  • Build a pipeline of leads throughout the sales cycle.
  • Communicate WeatherBug capabilities effectively to clients.
  • Hold at least 5 meetings per week and meet monthly/quarterly sales quotas.
  • Contribute during team meetings and respond to clients promptly.
  • Maintain a forecast for team spreadsheets and opportunity pipeline.
