Requirements:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Designing skills and analytical/critical thinking skills.
  • Able to represent the company in front of clients.
  • Batch Scheduler product knowledge (BMC ControlM).
  • Mainframe knowledge (TSO, SDSF, JCL, QuickRef).
  • ITIL foundation.
  • Self-directed.
Responsibilities:
  • Handle moderate and high complexity batch scheduling assignments.
  • Lead tasks to establish expertise and serve as a subject matter expert (SME).
  • Work with application teams to build automation for complex scheduling.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to reduce manual work through automation.
  • Provide input and assist with environment upgrades and changes.
  • Follow and understand the companies change control process.
  • Meet ticket SLA requirements and complete internal/external reporting.
  • Mentor less experienced associates in the role.
