Requirements:

• Strong interest in software development and security.
• Basic understanding of Linux fundamentals (e.g., package managers, command line).
• Eagerness to learn about packaging software and building container images.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems.

• Experience with programming (any language) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Learn to develop melange packages within Wolfi and private repositories, following specifications.
• Work with experienced developers to build Chainguard container images for security and speed.
• Create automated tests for image deployment and validation.
• Assist with managing a prioritized queue of images and meet project deadlines.
• Apply standards and protocols for image production and perform quality checks before release.
