Requirements:

• Strong interest in software development and security.
• Basic understanding of Linux fundamentals (e.g., package managers, command line).
• Eagerness to learn about packaging software and building container images.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems.
• Passionate about quality and driven to deliver high-caliber work.
• Experience with programming (any language) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Learn to develop melange packages within Wolfi and private repositories.
• Build Chainguard container images for public and private use.
• Create automated tests for image deployment and validation.
• Assist with processing a prioritized queue of images.
• Apply established standards and protocols for image production and conduct quality checks.
