CG Lighting Artist

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a Lighter in a VFX Production environment.
• Knowledge of Houdini or a willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of Maya.
• Experience with Renderman is a plus.
• An understanding of compositing techniques in Nuke.
• A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Light / look develop for integration of CG elements.
• Light / look develop for full CG shots.
• Interface with other departments to collect assets and shots forward.
• Optimize your render set-ups for efficient render farm usage and to improve the quality of results.
• Ability to create lighting setups to be used by other artists.
