Requirements:
  • Houdini, Maya experience required.
  • Renderman, Nuke, ZBrush experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Shotgun required.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a CG Artist required.
  • At least 1 year experience as a CG Lead preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with the VFX Supervisor to establish methodology and approach to CG projects and sequences.
  • Manages a small CG team on projects and sequences, ensuring creative and technical notes are met and that sequences are completed on time.
  • Responsible for tasking out a small CG team for projects and sequences.
  • Provides technical and creative notes to artists on the CG team.
  • Includes on-the-box shot set-ups and finishing.
  • Helps mentor junior artists.
  • Works with the CG Production Manager to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
