Data Scientist II, Cost Prediction

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in applied math, computer science, natural sciences, or engineering.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (M.S. or PhD highly desired).
• 3+ years of experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques.
• Experience in 3D deep learning; Mesh, Volumetric, and/or Point Clouds is a plus.
• Fluency in Python (pandas, numpy, SciPy, and scikit-learn preferred).
• Proficiency in linear algebra and statistics.
• Familiarity with scientific software principles, e.g., versioning systems and code deployment.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired.

Responsibilities:

• Use data science and machine learning principles to develop effective predictive models using 3D data.
• Write software to prepare, clean, and sample data for developing predictive models.
• Utilize cloud resources (e.g., Amazon Web Services) for data preparation and processing.
• Query and extract data from databases (Snowflake and MongoDB).
• Employ data analysis and visualization tools to inform business strategy.
• Continuously iterate solutions in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Tackle challenging, uncharted problems and work with a team in a learning-focused culture.
