Onboarding Accountant (Temporary - 6 Month)

Requirements:

• Passion for helping members and ability to thrive in a customer-centric role
• Minimum 5+ years experience in accounting and creating financial statements
• Bonus points for CPAs
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks Online, Gusto, ADP, or equivalent accounting and payroll software
• Strong understanding of payroll taxes and experience with payroll migrations
• Customer service oriented, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

• Conduct video Zoom calls with members every day (~4-5 hours per day)
• Use 5+ years of accounting expertise to create P&L reports and Balance Sheet Statements for members with mixed business and personal accounts
• Breakdown complex technical topics in layman's terms for members
• Help members run first payroll and understand payroll taxes
• Provide support and advice to entrepreneurs and the self-employed
