Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as the #1 or #2 finance leader at a series-B or series-C VC-backed SaaS company.
• Fintech experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent finance and analytical skills.
• Very intelligent and a fast learner.
• Great leader with a track record of building and managing high performing teams.
• Strong business sense with exposure to many SaaS startup functions outside of pure finance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee every finance function, including accounting, monthly & quarterly close, AR & AP, FP&A, etc.
• Manage fintech compliance personnel in conjunction with the CEO.
• Ensure company remains in good standing with BaaS partners and government entities.
• Hire and manage a team both in the U.S. and internationally.
• Oversee most back office operations including legal, equity, investor reporting, and governance.
• Track financial and company metrics and build a BI function.
• Manage cash flow to help the company stay lean and on track with the budget.
• Enable revenue teams by putting in appropriate controls.
