Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting.
2+ years' experience in corporate accounting including financial reporting and general ledger maintenance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience using QuickBooks Online.
Technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with US GAAP is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update accounting records and files.
Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements and intercompany balances monthly.
Conduct month-end and year-end closures.
Prepare monthly journal entries and performance reports.
Prepare documentation for quarterly sales tax returns and annual income tax returns.
Manage all invoicing and statement reconciliation.
Assist Manager with annual financial audits and documentation.
Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes.
Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
