Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a payer partnerships or health plans business development role.
• Understanding of health plan and provider business models.
• Experience in building a payer partnerships program from the ground up.
• Possess a virtual rolodex of pre-existing payer contacts.
• Exposure to clinicians providing mental health and/or telehealth services.
• Strong relationship builder comfortable collaborating across all organization levels.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and seek opportunities to shape company strategy.
• Operational excellence to establish processes and frameworks for individual and team success.
• Desire for a growth-oriented environment characterized by open feedback and high autonomy.
• Belief in BetterHelp's mission to provide affordable and personalized therapy online.

Responsibilities:

• Orchestrate strategic contract negotiations across various US markets to drive revenue growth and enhance payer relationships at a national level.
• Navigate contract strategy and renegotiations to optimize BetterHelp and payer partnership success.
• Build and grow relationships with key contacts and leadership within health plans.
• Leverage market and client data to identify new payer partnership opportunities.
• Build processes to set up and lead a successful payer partnership team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute strategy and grow the insured client population.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders to deliver insights informing product and operational strategy.
