Requirements:

3+ years of experience in forestry or related fields.
Strong focus on relationship building, landowner engagement, and sales.
Demonstrated experience with landowner sales from lead generation through to deal close.
Knowledge of forestry practices, data management, and field operations.
Experience with mapping tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar is a plus.
Flexibility and willingness to learn new things and take on new roles.

Responsibilities:

Drive landowner engagement and enrollment efforts to expand project footprint and ensure partner satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with landowners and field teams to coordinate planting, maintenance, and project scale-up across thousands of acres.
Communicate and gather feedback from landholders to improve engagement strategies and address any concerns.
Develop and maintain relationships with key landholders, creating open feedback loops with Funga leadership.
Conduct regular site visits, involving some fieldwork, to assess progress and gather insights for further analysis.
Travel up 30-50% of the time within the southeastern U.S.
