Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation engineering.
Minimum 10 years of related experience in automated manufacturing.
Working knowledge of material feeding systems, welding, metrology, PLCs, and motion control.
Expert level fundamentals in manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of statistical methods, validation protocols, PFMEA's, and control plans.
Experience with SolidWorks CAD software.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities:

All phases of custom, large-scale automation projects.
Conceptualization of automated prototype, production equipment design.
Leading design and review processes for automated cells.
Guiding manufacturing equipment projects through validation and start-up.
Creating RFPs and Purchase Specifications for equipment.
Testing and validating new designs and equipment.
Developing manufacturing processes based on product requirements.
Participating in cross-functional project teams.
Completing projects by training and guiding technicians and junior engineers.
