Requirements:
  • Licensed without restrictions as a mental health therapist in IA and the state in which you reside.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children.
  • Possess knowledge of diagnosis and assessment practices, treatment strategies, and interventions related to mental health.
  • Strong technological skills for digital documentation.
  • Effective communication with diverse backgrounds.
  • Organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Willingness to gain licensure in other states.
  • Bilingual is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide virtual high-quality, evidence-based mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to K-12 students.
  • Diagnose, conduct initial mental health intake assessments, and create individual treatment plans according to student needs.
  • Conduct clinical screeners and ongoing assessments of student progress.
  • Collaborate with care management teams to ensure successful service transitions.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and timely, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Participate as an active member of the clinical team and provide consultative telehealth crisis support as needed.
