Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Physical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Forestry, Agriculture, or related field.
• 20 + years of experience with emissions quantification and reporting in a regulatory context.
• Demonstrated experience with development, implementation, and emissions accounting standards.
• Experience with technical assessments of validation and verification bodies (VVBs) in relevant scopes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, project management ability, and strong communication skills.
• Must be available for domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Senior Director for the development of the sectoral crediting standard for the ETA.
• Lead the development and implementation of MRV requirements and procedures for crediting.
• Provide leadership for data/inventory standards development in collaboration with pilot countries and international organizations.
• Lead an MRV expert panel for drafting MRV requirements.
• Engage with the expert community to ensure feasibility and compliance with the Paris Agreement.
• Develop training materials for validation and verification bodies and conduct workshops.
• Support the public stakeholder comment process and maintain transparency in governance.
