Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Related tertiary qualification is essential.
  • 3-4 years of work experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in a business development role is advantageous.
  • Desirable experience in Financial Services.
  • Knowledge of payments and remittances is required.
  • Knowledge of B2C & C2C marketing and sales processes is required.
  • Knowledge of contracts and commercial agreements is required.
  • Knowledge of operating license requirements is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive market penetration of the Wallet & VAS business to achieve budgeted targets.
  • Lead acquisitions of new customers and improve retention of existing customers.
  • Build capability in sales and marketing teams and train sales team on product features.
  • Oversee and improve distribution channels.
  • Manage projects according to specified plans, track progress, and coordinate team activities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, present business cases, and negotiate contracts with partners.
  • Assist with budgeting, pricing reviews, and partner management.
