Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or strategic business development roles; payments background preferred.
• Interest and understanding of the payments ecosystem.
• Comfort with managing stakeholder expectations.
• Familiarity with the fintech ecosystem and B2B technology applications.
• Strong financial acumen related to complex deal structures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Assist team leads in closing and onboarding enterprise customers.
• Qualify leads and prioritize customer opportunities.
• Manage real customer opportunities through the sales process.
• Work with the Legal team on contracting and negotiation.
• Quickly learn Marqeta's technical capabilities and communicate its benefits.
• Develop solutions for prospects highlighting Marqeta's platform.
