Bookkeeper for a Marketing Agency in the UK

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably managing finances for multiple clients.
• Familiarity with UK accounting practices and tax regulations preferred.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software Xero and Dext.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to work with clients and internal teams remotely.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
• Must be able to work during UK business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM GMT).

Responsibilities:

• Perform weekly/monthly reconciliations for all accounts and provide detailed reports.
• Ensure timely issuance and correctness of invoices for all businesses.
• Record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare key financial statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure tax compliance and update accountants on bad debts.
• Carry out month-end closing procedures and communicate with clients professionally.
• Operate accounting software such as Xero, Dext, and ApprovalMax.
