Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • 2-3 years of accounts payable and general accounting experience.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and payment management software.

  • Data entry of manual check and invoice payments.
  • Review invoices and expense reports.
  • Distribute invoices for approval and follow up on approvals.
  • Conduct weekly reconciliations of AP records with the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
  • Request monthly statements from vendors and reconcile AP aging report.
  • Ensure compliance with accounts payable policies and internal controls.
  • Verify approvals on invoices and payment requests.
  • Update and maintain vendor database.
  • Communicate with vendors as required.
  • Process and follow-up on rush items.
  • Maintain accounts payable files.
  • Provide support for general administrative tasks.
  • Generate annual 1099s and handle special projects.
